TNPSC Signature Format: Dos & Don'ts Checklist

Avoid OTR portal upload issues by formatting your signature scan to the required specifications.

The Dos:

• Sign on white paper: Use standard, clean white printing paper with no lines or grids.
• Use black/blue ink: Sign clearly with a ballpoint or gel pen using dark ink.
• Crop the margins: Ensure the bounding box fits closely around the letters of the signature.
• Verify file size: Keep the file weight between 10 KB and 20 KB in JPG format.

The Don'ts:

• Avoid shadow and blur: Capture the image in bright daylight to prevent page shadow.
• Do not write on ruled paper: Bounding lines or notebook rulings can confuse image validators.
• Do not upload in PNG format: The portal only supports `.jpg` extensions.
